About Me

I am extremely excited to join the Administration Team at Mt. Abraham Union Middle High School! During my time thus far in education I have been a camp counselor, an outdoor adventure facilitator, a coach, a physical education teacher, a school counselor, a Dean of Students, a Student Support Coordinator and now a Director of School Counseling and Supports. I did my undergraduate work at The College of New Jersey before transferring to finish my course of study at Springfield College. I then earned my masters degree at Seattle University. I grew up in New Jersey and have resided in Worcester, Massachusetts and Seattle, Washington prior to moving to Vermont over 10 years ago. Before I started at Mt. Abe 5 years ago, I worked at Williamstown Middle High School (VT) for 8 years and The Bancroft School (MA) for 4 years. I enjoy spending my time being active outside, relaxing at home, and being with family and friends. I have so much pride as an educator and am passionate about the work as I thrive on human connection and systems work in order to make the best pathway and outcome for students, faculty, staff, families and other resources. I am constantly learning and I am so grateful to be a part of the amazing Mt. Abraham Unified School District (MAUSD) community. Go Eagles!
