I began teaching teaching Technical Education at Mount Abraham Fall 1981. After receiving my Bachelors of Science in Education with a major in Technical Education from the University of Vermont in 1980. In the Summer of 1981 I was hired to teach Technical Education at Mount Abraham Union High School. Once an Eagle always an Eagle, I was excited to return to my alma mater (Mount Abraham Class of 1976) to begin my teaching career. In 1982 I was fortunate enough to meet my wife (Mary Stetson) and have been proud to teach and coach at Mount Abraham my entire professional career. I would later earn a Masters Degree in Education Leadership at the University of Southern New Hampshire in 2003. My goal as a Tech Education Teacher is to give students an opportunity to problem solve, design and build projects. To do this we provide the opportunity to learn how to safely operate machines and equipment in a shop environment. Along with teaching Tech Ed, Mary and I served as Mount Abraham Union High School Co-Athletic Directors for 25 years and have coached numerous sports. Since 1981 I have been the Varsity Baseball Coach.
I am semi-retired so when I am not teaching/coaching at Mount Abraham I enjoy hunting, golfing and spending time with my family.
