About Me

I have lived in New Haven my whole life. We built our house about five miles from my family farm. I'm a 1981 graduate of Mt Abe. I worked on the family farm for the summer after graduating then moved on to work for other farms until my knees and hips ached too much. I went to work for an electrician and did the apprenticeship program for four years. Hard to go back to school when you've been out for twelve years. After I received my license I had my own electrical business for sixteen years then got tired of the long hours and headaches that went with it. Meanwhile in 2008 when business slowed down, I got my CDL Class A license and drove truck for a few years at night after doing electrical during the day.

For fun we like to hike and started kayaking this summer. I especially love riding my motorcycle, which my wife of 27 years says is my true love (she's probably right as usual).
