About Me...
My name is Kerianne Severy and I am the Math Coach and Middle School Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Coach. I went to college at the University of Maine and double majored in Education and Mathematics with minors in Music and Business Administration. I then went onto my Masters program at the University of Southern California. After teaching high school math in Maine for one year, I got married and moved to Vermont where my husband grew up. We lived in St. Albans for a year before moving to Middlebury to be closer to my husband's family. We now own and operate the 100 cow Organic Grass-fed Jersey farm we bought from his dad. We have two young children who always keep us on our toes and with whom we try to share our love of music, art, canoeing, and hiking. In 2017 (pre-kids), I received a Rowland Fellowship and completed a Principal Licensure Program through the Upper Valley Educators Institute. Community endeavors I am involved in include: teaching toddler music classes through Middlebury Community Music Center, serving on the Board of Directors for Middlebury Community Players, serving on the Board of Directors for the Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC), and as the Founder and President of the new local non-profit Vermont Children's Museum which is fundraising to open an indoor playspace in Middlebury.
