About Me...
I am Sam Howe, a seventh and eighth grade English teacher at Mt. Abe. I became a teacher before I realized it: working as a ski instructor (At Mad River Glen) and camp counselor (at Camp Exclamation Point) when I was in high school. I went to college in Maine where I studied English and Teaching, and continued my work in outdoor leadership. Over the past ten years, I have worked as a middle school English teacher in Washington, DC and Minnesota, and it’s wonderful, now, to continue this work now in my home state
