About Me

I am the middle school art teacher for Mt.Abe. I received a BA from St.Lawrence University with a minor in education. Along with studying art in college I was also a member of the Women's Lacrosse team. After receiving my BA I moved to Portland, OR where I coached a high school girls lacrosse team and worked at a recreation center. After a year on the west coast I returned to Vermont and attended the University of Vermont where I received a Post Baccalaureate in art education. I eventually landed my current position as the middle school art teacher and also started a Summer craft camp with a friend, which has been running for three years. I currently reside in Monkton, VT with my husband and our many pets. Along with teaching I enjoy coaching lacrosse for the Mount Abraham/Vergennes middle school girls club team, being out on the lake, and going on hikes and walks with friends and family.
