About Me
I am a flatlander, but after 25 plus years, I call this beautiful state my home. I have been teaching at Mt. Abe since 2004 as the Personalized Learning Teacher. I served as Teacher Leader of the Personalized Learning Department for over ten years. Prior to my current position, I worked at the Hannaford Career Center and as the Addison County Regional School-to-Work Coordinator. I support student work in Guided Learning Opportunities (GLOs), Independent Learning Opportunities (ILOs), Continued Learning Opportunities (CLOs), DUOs, College Dual Enrollment (DE), Virtual High School (VHS), and Work Based Learning (WBL). I also manage HOBY Youth Leadership and Governor's Institutes. I hold a MEd in Educational Leadership (with K-12 Principal Licensure) from University of Vermont, a Certificate in Management and Administration from Harvard University Extension School, and a BA degree in Human Development from Boston College. Outside of school I enjoy running, skiing, gardening, flea markets, cooking, and hanging out with friends. I enjoy visiting my children at Villanova University, travelling with them to beach locations or wherever their favorite sports teams are playing.
