About Me
In 1992 my part-time summer job became my profession while at Northlands Job Corp Center in Vergennes after earning a bachelor's degree in History and Secondary Education from Castleton State College. While in the Job Corp system(NJCC and CJCC in Cassadaga, New York) I taught social studies, english, math and driver education. Most importantly, I learned about the challenges inner-city youth face every day to survive and be productive members of society.
In 1996 I started teaching Driver Education at Mount Abraham, my alma mater(class of 1987). I have also taught Middle School Social Studies, Outdoor Survival Skills and Yearbook. Likewise I have coached football, soccer, boys basketball and softball. Winning D2 State Championships in football, basketball and softball.
In 2003, I earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University with a focus on Driver Education. During that professional development I realized that Driver Education is the perfect match for me.
