About Me
My name is Stephanie Rossier, and I teach Life Science (Biology) and help our school with Proficiency-based learning. I have been teaching science since 2000, and I love science, teaching others about it, and being a part of the Mt. Abe community. My education includes a B.S. in Biology from Johnson State College and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Michael’s College. I am a native Vermonter, although I have lived and taught in Oregon and Connecticut as well. I am a mother of 2 strong, beautiful girls, and in our free time, we love camping, paddling, biking, hiking, and skiing. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, listening to live music, making art, building contraptions, traveling, and learning new things. I look forward to working with you to help support your learning about the world and your connection to and impact on it. Whether you are headed for college or career, I will help you gain transferable skills and an understanding of science to support your success as a Vermont and world citizen. Never stop learning!
