About Me
I am thrilled to be a member of the Mt. Abe community! I look forward to working together to support each student’s personal and academic success. Before joining the School Counseling Department at Mt. Abe, I worked at Middlebury Union High School for 12 years and previously, worked at Missisquoi Valley Union High School.
Originally from Massachusetts, I moved to Vermont to attend St. Michael’s College, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. After volunteering for AmeriCorps and later working in the Burlington area, I returned to school to earn a Master’s Degree in School Counseling at The University of Vermont.
I love working with high school students! I not only enjoy supporting each student's social, emotional and academic needs but also supporting their hopes and dreams for after high school. I enjoy working collaboratively to explore post-secondary options and seeing students utilize their skills in a new environment.
Outside of school, you’ll find me skiing at Sugarbush, chasing after my new puppy and spending time with my husband and two sons.
