About Me...
I grew up in South Portland Maine, and remained in Maine for college. I earned my BA in Environmental Studies from Bates College in 2012. In 2020, I earned my Masters in Teaching from UVM. In 2014 I moved to Vermont for what I thought would be a 3 month stint on a farm. 3 months turned into a season, and a season turned into a year, and now one year has turned into 7. For the 8 years between graduation from college and settling into teaching, I farmed on dairy, organic vegetable, and livestock farms, built houses, worked as a career counselor for refugees, and ski patrolled at Mad River Glen. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually spending time with my wife and two young kids, riding my bike around the roads and trails in Lincoln, or exploring the Green Mountains on my skis.
