About Me...

I am a lifelong Vermonter, earned my Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from UVM in 1995 and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from UVM in 2007.  I started my career in education at Vergennes Union High School in 1997 where I met my wife, Sarah.   We reside in Monkton where we raised our family. Two of our children have graduated from Mt Abraham in 2019 and 2021, we have two more children, a sophomore and a senior attending Mt Abraham currently.

While at VUHS I taught PE/Health for 20 years and moved to Administration for six years. I knew that I needed to get back to the classroom and was lucky enough to be hired to teach MS PE at Mt Abraham for the 2023-24 school year.  I have a lot of connections with Mt Abe through my children and through coaching the Varsity boys lacrosse team here since 2017.  I look forward to making more connections with my school community during this school year.

I love to read almost anything.  In my spare time you can usually find me at a sporting event supporting my children or coaching a team.  I also love to watch college basketball and support the UNC Tarheels.
