About Me....

I grew up outside of Milwaukee, WI and attended UW-Oshkosh, where I received a bachelor's degree in Human Geography. After college I spent a decade traveling around the West and building hiking and biking trails. After moving to Vermont I worked as a carpenter and then returned to school to become a social studies teacher. I completed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at UVM and interned at Mt. Abe! I am now teaching Middle School social studies here and could not be happier! I feel fortunate to be a part of this wonderful community. When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, skiing, reading, hunting, and seeing live music.
