About Me
I am the principal of Mt. Abraham Union Middle/High school. I have an undergraduate degree in education with a focus in science at the University of Vermont and received a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Union Institute and University. I have been an educator since 2006 teaching a variety of science courses in grades 7-12. I transitioned from the classroom and into administration in 2013 as the assistant principal for teaching and learning for 6 years at Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans. I have a passion for teaching and consider myself a lifelong learner and am fortunate to have a career that allows me to share my love of learning with others.
Outside of school you can find me in the horse barn, completing projects to improve my home in Ferrisburgh, singing, spending time outdoors and with friends and family. I love riding and training horses, giving lessons to others, am an American Quarter Horse Association Professional Horseman and also enjoy training dogs with my Dad.
