About Me
I am a flatlander, but after 25 years, I call this beautiful state my home. I have been teaching at Mt. Abe since 2004 as the Personalized Learning Teacher. I served as Teacher Leader of the Personalized Learning Department for the past ten years. Prior to my current position, I worked at the Hannaford Career Center and as the Addison County Regional School-to-Work Coordinator. I support student work in Guided Learning Opportunities (GLOs), Independent Learning Opportunities (ILOs), DUOs, College Dual Enrollment, and Virtual High School (VHS). I also manage Eagle Challenge, HOBY Youth Leadership, and Governor's Institutes. I hold a MEd in Educational Leadership (with K-12 Principal Licensure) from University of Vermont, a Certificate in Management and Administration from Harvard University Extension School, and a BA degree in Human Development from Boston College. Outside of school I enjoy running, skiing, gardening, flea markets, cooking, attending my daughter's sports events, and hanging out with friends. I enjoy travelling with my children to beach locations or wherever their favorite sports teams are playing.
