About Me

This is my seventh year as the math interventionist at Mount Abraham, and I have been teaching math for thirteen years. I graduated from the Vermont Mathematics Initiative at the University of Vermont in 2016 with a Master of Science for Teachers degree. In addition to teaching students, some other professional highlights of my career include being selected as a 2017 Vita-Learn and Vermont ASCD IGNITE Educator, presenting at the 2017 Dynamic Landscapes Conference at Champlain College, and presenting to colleagues in the Mount Abraham Unified School District. I am currently learning about how to broaden the mathematics curriculum to include a focus on data science. A few of my hobbies are hiking, playing sports, and listening to music. I live and learn in Winooski with my wife, three children, and mischievous dog, Buffy.
