About Me

I have a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School (now Antioch University) and most importantly, attended two years of middle school myself, years ago!  I live in Lincoln, and am glad to call the 5-Town Community my home.

In my past many years in this area, I have worked as a crisis clinician at the Counseling Service of Addison County and at several elementary, middle and high schools, including CVU, OtterValley, and our own Monkton Central School. I’ve landed back at Mt. Abe because I enjoy learning from the middle school students and love working here.

My role as school counselor is to support students in 7th and 8th grade to be the best they can be here at school and in all of  their various roles in the world- student, teacher, friend, teammate, group member, sibling, family member, child, 5-town community member, and more. We all have days where we feel on top of the world; we all have days we wish we never got out of bed. My job is to support students by providing a safe space to let their voices be heard, no matter what kind of day they are having.

I meet with students individually, in small groups, and frequently, you can find me in their classes as I strive to understand their world as best as I can. I consult with teachers, administration, and families regarding creating strong supports for students here at Mt. Abe. Please contact me anytime!
