About Me

I discovered my passion for language learning in high school and went on to major in French and International Business at Illinois Wesleyan University.  After earning an M.A. in Teaching in Chicago, I moved to Vermont where I completed an M.A. in French at Middlebury College.  I began teaching all levels of French at Mt. Abe in 2007.  My favorite things about teaching here are: my amazing students and colleagues, our strong partnership with Middlebury College’s Language in Motion program, and our vibrant 5-town community.  Outside of school, I can usually be found trying out new recipes and soaking up the beauty of Vermont with my husband and daughter.
