Originally from Massachusetts, I moved to Vermont in 2001. After earning a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, and a 30 year career in industry, I returned to school in 2014 to become a mathematics teacher. Before I started working for MAUSD as a high school mathematics and financial literacy teacher, I taught middle school math in Bakersfield for two years. I live in Essex with my wife Beth. We have three sons (Cameron, Jake and Josh) and one daughter (Kathryn). In my free time I am often working on projects around our home, studying for my master’s degree, and spending time with our three dogs (Mikey, Luna and Bailey) and tortoise (Riley).
