Scholarships

The Mt. Abraham Awards and Scholarship Committee is excited to announce that applications are now available for over 40 local scholarships! All seniors are welcome to apply. Please read the following information carefully as this letter will describe the application process for two types of scholarships that are outlined below.

Mt. Abraham Scholarship Application - Completion of this application gives access to more than 15 scholarships ranging in value from $400-$5000. The Mt. Abraham Awards and Scholarship Committee selects qualified applicants for each of these awards based on criteria outlined for each scholarship. All graduating seniors are strongly urged to complete this application. It is the philosophy of the committee that any qualified applicant who submits this application on time will receive an award. Applicants for this pool of scholarships are required to complete IRS Form W-9 as part of their application. The superintendent’s office requires this form in order to pay recipients. The deadline for submission of this application is Friday, May 1, 2026 at 3:00pm.

Scholarships Awarded by Local Community Organizations – There are over twenty four different scholarships offered by local organizations. Please pay close attention to the requirements of each individual application and instructions for submission. Deadlines for these scholarships will vary. Some are as early as April 1st.

Please take care and time when filling out these applications. The neatness, thoroughness, and overall quality of your application is extremely important. If the application requires that you enclose your transcript, please request it from Jada Roberge (school registrar) at least two days ahead of stated deadlines.
